FCCS training prepares non-intensivists to manage critically ill patients for the first 24 hours until transfer or until the appropriate critical care consultation can be arranged. The course and its companion text assist the non-intensivist in dealing with the sudden deterioration of critically ill patients and prepares house staff and nurses for ICU coverage. The course is often used to prepare residents for rotations in the ICU. Successful completion of the course requires:

  • Attendance of the entire course.
  • Completion of a pre-test.
  • Successful completion of a post-test - achieving a score of 70%.
  • Completion of an evaluation form.

 

16 contact hours will be awarded to participants who successfully complete the course. Participants who do not pass the final exam will be remediated and may need to re-take the course.

Need a class for 6 or more students?  Let us help you organize a group class!

We provide two options for group classes with a minimum of 6 registered students:

  1. Onsite classes - We come to you!
  2. Private classes - Come to our facility! You schedule the date and time.

Replacement Cards 

Please call our office at 973-989-3213.  We will verify your information; and with payment, print and mail a duplicate card.  For BLS Healthcare Provider and Heartsaver CPR/AED and/or HeartSaver First Aid, replacement card cost is $10.00.  For ACLS and PALS replacement card cost is $15.00.
