Resuscitation in Action – PALS

The Resuscitation in Action - PALS Course will enhance the student learning by instruction in the various components of Pediatric Advanced Life Support Skills.  The course is designed for the staff new to this type of training.  The class includes a review, lectures, demonstration and participation in Scenario based learning environments. This course includes the lifesaving skills required to be both team member and Team Leader the hospital setting. Discussion and demonstration of all the equipment is included in this course.  Due to the fact that the ARC Online PALS Course covers extensive material, you will need to prepare for the course beforehand.

 

You should prepare for class by doing the following:

 

  • Review and understand the information in your PALS Provider Manual.
  • Complete the American Red Cross PALS online course assigned to you in Healthstream.
  • This assignment is extensive so please allow yourself sufficient time to complete it prior to class. YOU WILL NOT BE ADMITTED TO THE CLASS UNLESS THIS ASSIGNMENT IS COMPLETED.
  • Complete your Evaluation at the end of the online portion.
  • In-person skills completion may be included as part of the class, however, is not required prior to class.

Need a class for 6 or more students?  Let us help you organize a group class!

We provide two options for group classes with a minimum of 6 registered students:

  1. Onsite classes - We come to you!
  2. Private classes - Come to our facility! You schedule the date and time.

Replacement Cards 

Please call our office at 973-989-3213.  We will verify your information; and with payment, print and mail a duplicate card.  For BLS Healthcare Provider and Heartsaver CPR/AED and/or HeartSaver First Aid, replacement card cost is $10.00.  For ACLS and PALS replacement card cost is $15.00.
